How It Works: A flameproof bulkhead light consists of: A robust flameproof enclosure (cast aluminum or stainless steel), Thick toughened glass cover, LED or conventional light source, Flameproof cable entry and internal wiring

When energized: Light illuminates the surrounding area normally, If an internal fault causes sparking, the enclosure contains the explosion, Heat and flame are safely dissipated through flamepaths without ignition outside
